Detailed Job Description:
Our Canine Carer / Driver plays a key role in our daycare operation, acting as the friendly face of our business both on the road and on site. This role combines safe, professional dog transport with hands-on canine care at our daycare facility.
You will be responsible for driving our custom vans to collect and return dogs to and from daycare, carrying out daily vehicle safety checks, and ensuring dogs are transported securely and comfortably at all times. This includes being trusted with client house keys and access instructions, following company procedures carefully and responsibly.
At daycare, you will supervise dogs throughout the day, supporting safe play and positive social interactions. You’ll monitor dog behaviour and body language, help prevent conflict, and ensure a clean, calm, and enriching environment. Duties also include feeding, administering medication as directed, cleaning play areas, and supporting structured activities such as play sessions, enrichment, and basic training.
This role suits someone who is a confident driver, calm and attentive with dogs, highly trustworthy, and passionate about providing excellent care and customer service.

We’re excited to be launching our brand-new dog swimming pool, and we’re looking for a confident, dog-savvy team member to help run our Swim Klub sessions.
This role is perfect for someone who loves hands-on work with dogs, is calm and safety-focused, and enjoys providing top-level care and enrichment.
About the Role
As a Swim Klub Attendant, you’ll be responsible for delivering safe, fun and enriching 30-minute swim sessions for our daycare dogs, either individually or in carefully matched pairs (maximum two dogs in the pool at any time).
You’ll work closely with our daycare team to ensure every dog has a positive, stress-free swimming experience.
Key Responsibilities
Supervising dogs during individual or paired swim sessions
Safely handling dogs in and out of the pool
Monitoring dog behaviour, confidence and fatigue levels
Maintaining high standards of pool hygiene and cleanliness
Carrying out basic pool checks and following safety procedures
Recording swim sessions and feeding back to the wider team
Supporting general daycare duties when required
What We’re Looking For;
Confident handling dogs of different breeds, sizes and abilities

Management Duties:
Properly manage and maintain gym operational budget
Responsible for overseeing the sales process and systems
Manage, monitor, and evaluate the performance of all gym-related managers.
Monitor the hiring, training and scheduling of all gym level staff.
Train and mentor subordinates
Properly delegate, monitor and evaluate specifically assigned responsibilities of sales team through the Sales Manager.
Responsible for managing disciplinary actions involving all gym level employees.
Operational Duties:
Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service in a high volume retail environment through personal actions and development of the staff.
Provide effective decision making regarding customer service issues.
Plan and promote special events for the gym on a monthly basis, using corporate marketing as needed.
Responsible for ensuring that the facility is clean and operationally sound.
Job Qualifications:
High School diploma with five years professional experience. College degree preferred.
Fitness industry experience preferred but not required.
Be promotionally-oriented and have the ability to direct sales through company required outreach programs.
Strong customer service orientation with proven results.
Understanding of performance metrics including P&L, revenue, budgeting, inventory, payroll, cost controls and facilities maintenance.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Entrepreneurial spirit with open, participative leadership style and drive for excellence.
Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor.
Associate or Bachelor's degree in business or related field with two years of management experience preferred.
